Pastor Jason Robertson began serving as the Senior Pastor of Fairview in June of 2024. Jason received his Masters of Arts and Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004, and BA in Political Science from Mississippi State University in 1999. Jason is pursuing his Doctorate of Theology from Covington Seminary in Rossville, Georgia. Jason grew up in Pontotoc, MS. He and Christen, his wife, have been married since 2004 and have four children: Isabella, Grace-Garland, Karis, and Tate. On this journey, Jason has learned the true direction of a disciple of Jesus; to love God while loving others, and to equip Christians for the work of ministry to build up the body of Christ. This is Jason’s goal here at Fairview and in all things he does.
Jason enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, coffee, and rooting for the Mississippi State Bulldogs!

My beautiful wife Holly, and I have four daughters, 3 biological and 1 we were blessed to be able to adopt. I previously worked full time in law enforcement as a patrol officer and then as a school resource officer. During the last five years of my time in law enforcement I also served as a bi-vocational student pastor at Cedar Fork Baptist Church. Next, I was called to Fairview Baptist Tabernacle where I now serve as the youth pastor. My wife and I are heavily involved in the Sweetwater community. I am the head coach of the Sweetwater Junior High girls’ soccer team and the assistant coach for the Sweetwater Junior High girls’ basketball team. We have also coached AYSO soccer for over ten years. My work in law enforcement has given me the opportunity to build a great relationship with the community and with the local school system, as I am invited multiple times a year to speak about substance abuse prevention and positivity. Our family loves Jesus and we love to serve together.
